We are butchers, so we love to cut much of our own meats. We make all of our own sausages and burgers in house. With the exception of chicken breasts, chicken is cut by us. Beef and pork is all us baby!
We prefer freezing them as soon as they are cut to keep their freshness. All products are already packaged to go straight into the freezer, so you don’t have to divide them up. This also helps us maintain the greatest level of food safety for you.
We want you to be safe, so we built easy to carry boxes within our big pack. All cardboard is recyclable and built from recyclable materials. We also insulate with recyclable materials to keep your meats frozen and reduce shifting in the box. Lastly, our vacuum packaging is built of rugged plastic to greatly reduce freezer burn. As long as you wash it inside and out, you will be able to recycle these as well.
Chances are, that won’t happen, but if it does, move it directly into the freezer. As long as it is not fully thawed you will be safe to refreeze. If you are at all concerned, please call us directly.
Your pack is well insulated, but in Summer it is best to not exceed 12 hours.
Health Canada maintains that meats last 10 – 12 months in the freezer for maximum freshness. Our vacuum sealed meats will easily last this long. Health Canada
We sure do. Like many delivery companies, we want to make sure your package is left in a safe environment. Inside the main door or if possible directly to your door is what we like to see, but it depends on our access that is provided by you and your building.
The food business demands certainty in an uncertain time. We have taken every food safety and staff safety precaution available. Delivery to your door is contact free. As keepers of our craft, we pride ourselves in our clean and safe working environment and we want to make sure that is extended to you too.
